Town Park is conveniently located next to Enfield Town’s recently redeveloped Palace Gardens Shopping Center, an ideal bribe for any mother wanting to take a quick look around M&S or Pearson’s Department store.

A redundant loop of The New River borders the park - the river is home to many varieties of wildlife including moorhen, coot, mallard and swans. A wonderful old, well maintained bridge provides the dividing line on the river between Town Park and Bush Hill Park Golf Course and the area around the bridge is a perfect spot to relax on a sunny day.

Other facilities found at Town Park include the well equipped children’s playground and adjacent cafeteria and public toilets.  Energetic visitors to the park can make use of the tennis courts, basketball court, bowling green and the interactive water park is a great feature for young children providing hours of fun in the summer months.

The park plays host to a number of events throughout the year - November is the month for fireworks and a major public display is held at Town Park, during September The Autumn Show is held which is the principal civic show within the borough and in August there is the National Playday which is an annual event offering a range of free activities for children of all ages. Town Park is definitely worth a visit if just to admire the beautiful flower gardens and lawns.
