Area Information

Situated between Winchmore Hill and Enfield Town, Bush Hill Park is a locality in the London Borough of Enfield. Despite often being grouped in with Enfield Town, the area has its own unique identity and offers an attractive, more affordable alternative to some of the surrounding areas.

Amenities in the area are good, with several shops and cafés close to the station. The main primary school in the area is Raglan school on Wellington Road. It has performed well in the school league tables in recent years and is popular with young families. There’s a pleasant small park, which features skateboard ramps, a kids playground and outdoor fitness equipment, as well as plenty of space for cycling and jogging.

Much of the suburban area is covered with planned residential properties, and there are a variety of building styles, which have been developed between 1880 and 1960. While the majority of the properties in the area are mid-range 1930s terraced or semi detached houses, you will also find a good selection of Edwardian and Victorian properties. Several modern luxury blocks of apartments can be found on Village Road and Wellington Road.

The area has its own Network Rail station, with trains running to Liverpool Street. The nearest tube station is Southgate, which is on the Piccadilly Line; journey time to the West End is approximately 25 minutes.
